Introduction
One of the most common questions we get from businesses getting started on Xflow is: what do I actually need to have ready? The answer depends on your business type but the process is the same for every user: five steps, and documents are collected along the way.
Here's a clear breakdown so you can walk in prepared.
What you'll need based on your business type
The core documents vary depending on how your business is structured:
- Sole Proprietor - PAN, IEC certificate (only in case of goods exporters), and brand name
- Individual - PAN and address proof (in case of MCY)
- Company - GSTIN certificate or CIN, business PAN, Director PANs, and Beneficial Owner PANs
- LLP - GSTIN certificate or LLPIN, business PAN, Partner PANs, and Beneficial Owner PANs
- Partnership - GSTIN, Partnership Deed, Partner PANs, and Beneficial Owner PANs
Regardless of business type, you will also need to provide a business description, purpose code, proof of online presence, bank account details, and acceptance of the Xflow Services Agreement.
Bank details you'll need at Step 4
Towards the end of the onboarding flow, you'll be asked for your bank information:
- Account holder name
- Account number and IFSC code
- Payout currency preference — INR or USD EEFC
Make sure these details are accurate. This is the account where your payouts will be sent.
What happens after you submit?
In most cases, the documents listed above are sufficient for verification. However, if our operations team needs additional information to complete the review, they may request supporting documents such as export invoices, a FIRA or FIRC, client contracts, address proof, or a portfolio depending on your business profile. This doesn't happen for every applicant, but it's good to be aware of so you're not caught off guard if we follow up.
